One of the photographers thought this was my wedding bouquet
so they took a picture of it beside my Bride sign. Pretty, eh? 🙂
I consider Ysabela Florist as one of the most considerate suppliers we have booked for our wedding. They have revised our contract a couple of times, not because of me, acting as the fickle-minded bride, but rather the cost effective bride. 😀 When we first talked to them, Mark and I said that we are going to get the services for the church set up; then changed to reception set up. But due to the fact that our wedding expenses became more costly than what we have expected, Mark and I decided to book them as our supplier for wedding entourage flowers. After all, our package with Don Bosco and Great Eastern Hotel already includes the floral decoration.
I love the way how they made the entourage flowers, even my throw bouquet, where most of the people who went to my room before the wedding day, thought that my throw bouquet is my actual wedding bouquet. Even my mom, who isn’t a big fan of wedding bouquets, was really impressed with it, and she even wanted to hold it during the procession. The wristers they made for our female entourage were also beautiful. Though the colors they used didn’t match our wedding motif, it still looks really okay. Besides, I didn’t coordinate with them that much in terms of the colors and type of flowers they are going to use. I wasn’t really that particular with the colors, most especially that I do not have enough knowledge with the types of flowers. 😀

Ysabela Florist = Booked

Last Saturday, H2b and I went to San Sebastian church to attend the anticipated mass and met with Ysabela Florist to finalize the packages we are going to get from them.
Gladly the transaction really went very smoothly, and true to its tagged, Sir Russel was indeed 100.1% accommodating. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet Ms. Weng (the proprietor of Ysabela Florist) since she had a scheduled ocular visit with another bride.  And to top that, Sir Russel also gave me a bracelet since I am from GT (GirlTalk) Thank you so much! ♥
Sir Russell showed us sample pictures of their previous works that really made us feel very proud that we booked them as our reception stylist. They do have budgeted and pricey packages too according to the couple’s want. Here’s a rundown of the services we’re going to get from them.
*17 centerpieces
*Backdrop (Sir Russel showed me the inspiration they are going to use to decorate the reception venue. He said that this will be the trend next year. To keep the suspense, I am not going to post the peg he showed me, but I can pretty tell that the idea is 100 % really striking.
*Flowers for teddy bears
*2 set up for presidential tables
*Wristers
*Throw bouquet
This is the bracelet they give to GT brides ♥

What a coincidence! 🙂 San Sebastian is also preparing for a wedding.

That’s me! 😉

Trying the Fascinators that Ysabela is also selling.
Trying the head bands for Flower girls. haha

Church Floral Arrangements

To substitute the services we’re supposed to get from Ysabela for the entourage flowers (since we’re already having crystal bouquets), I finally decided to have them decorate the church where our wedding vows would take place – Don Bosco.  (Haven’t told this to H2B yet) 😀
Don Bosco doesn’t need too much adornment since the church really looks beautiful even without flower decorations. How much more if we are going to embellish the place?  For sure, it would really look wonderful.

I always wanted pillars and curtains on the entrance to exude a dramatic feel as I glide my way to the altar; if only smoke machine is allowed probably I’d have it too. – lol, too much magical eh? Anyhow, I’d let Ysabela florist take care of the flower arrangements, and I am pretty sure they will be able to carry out every details I want most especially that I do not know much about flowers. I just want the church to be filled with flowers and make me feel as if I am a Princess. =)

Good thing Ysabela’s facebook page is always updated, that’s why I get to see every set up they’ve done from previous weddings. All of the pictures are quite impressive and I just can’t wait to see how they’d decorate Don Bosco. They usually do floral decorations for INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) couples, and I am pretty confident that they will be able to execute the same beautiful set-up to Don Bosco  – I am saying this because the interior (such as high ceilings, walls, choir loft) of INC is really stunning and looks a bit different as compared to catholic churches 😉

Crystals and Beads bouquets

As promised by my friend (who will give us the wedding cord as a gift), she already showed me the ‘sample ‘wedding cord she’s making for us. I was really stunned when I saw the actual cord (first part) since it looks very well-designed and it was as if hand-crafted by a pro! Now Hazel, I bet you’d be famous if you start your own business making customized wedding cords. I know you’d be successful in this field!
Along with the wedding cord, she also brought a sample corsage made of beads. So part of my ideas right now is to replace the corsage & entourage flowers I am getting from my florist and replace it with beads and crystals. Oh no, I am thinking too much right now ! For sure this would be a great keepsake too.
Here are the samples she brought just today. Sorry, for the shaky hands!

We are going to wrap the wires with organza 😉
                                                  and the finished product!

Disclaimer: This is not yet the finished product. This is just the first cord (my cord) Hazel’s still working on Mark’s cord. We will accentuate the cord with Cross and our initials. ♥

and here’s the finished product! ♥

And since I already feel as if I am wearing a thinking cap right now, might as well share some pictures of the wedding bouquets I have in mind.
