I’m officially Mrs. A already!

Hi Ya’ll!
Wedding’s finally over! Thank you so much for all the support and for all the advices. Today, I am officially signing off as the certified bridechilla. Thank you to the thousands of readers and followers who have supported this blog.
To all the bride to be’s out there, no matter what kind of problems you might encounter on your most awaited day, just smile and leave everything to GOD. Believe me, no matter how long you plan for a wedding, there will still be glitches no matter how much you try to stay away from it. But since my friends find our wedding perfect in their eyes, I will no longer share what really happened the day before and few hours before our big day. aha!) What’s important is at the end of the day – you get to exchange vows with the man you truly love, in front of your friends and families and to the MAN up there! Cheers!

Extra Special Month! ♥

This month will be very extra special because it’s my Birth Month and Wedding Month! Finally, the long wait is almost over, and looking at the Wedding Countdown, we’re only 25 days away from our most awaited day!

Just like other brides out there, we are already experiencing minor hitches to some of our wedding details. Flowers, gowns, guest list, proxies, seat plan, seating arrangement and so much more.  I guess no matter how much a hands-on bride I am, problems are really inevitable. Good thing I have a very supporting hubby to be, who always reminds me that everything will be fine on our big day.  He keeps on telling me that I shouldn’t stress myself thinking about every detail about our wedding. We should leave everything to the Man up There, and for sure, all our plans will be pulled off perfectly fine.
Everything is complete, and we’re too happy that we were able to accomplish the major and minor things we need to do. We’re done booking everything, and I can already feel that we can be at ease as early as now.

This is my Dream Wedding

Getting married is not that easy, and so with wedding budgeting. When Mark and I decided to get married, I was a bit anxious about the expenses we might incur all throughout the preparation stage. I am not that confident, and I even thought of that the wedding might not push through since we won’t be able to pay the suppliers in time.

Luckily, or I should say, I am more than thankful that we were able to make it and was able to allot more than what we can. I know for sure that this budgeted, simple and not so intimate wedding (yes we do have a lot of guests) will be memorable even if we didn’t break the bank.

During the early stage of our wedding preps, I thought that a couple need to spend that much just to achieve their dream wedding, and right now, with only 30 days left before our big day, I came to realize that we need not to spend that much just to have our dream wedding. After all, this is my dream wedding! – To get married with Mark. To exchange vows with Mark, and let our families, friend and the MAN up there know how much we love each other.

As early as now, we were able to pay all the suppliers ahead the deadline, and I am very proud to say that this is indeed our wedding. We paid for it with our own effort and hard work. Now that everything is falling in its right place, there is NO ONE, who can make me feel depressed if they say undesirable things about our plans for the big day.

The Laidback Bride to Be

Just 46 days to go before the big day. Exciting, isn’t it?

I’ve been wondering for a couple of days already why I am not getting these so called wedding jitters? I am not expecting to experience it though, but it’s as if I am not experiencing the stress that a bride to be is usually going through? Is this normal? Or am I just being too laidback and could be missing a lot of things already? Hhhhhm ☻

I am a proud budgeted and certified bridechilla

First of all, I’d like to greet my H2b a Happy Monthsary! (yeah, I know, there’s no such word as Monthsary) ♥ hehe. Looking forward to spend more months, years & decades with you.

Ever since I started my own wedding blog, I have been receiving emails from other bride to be’s saying that they are thankful to find my blog on the internet.  Some of them are asking for my checklists, while others request a total breakdown of our wedding expenses. These wonderful messages are so priceless and it makes me feel that planning for a wedding is truly satisfying. They make me realize and add up confidence that everything will be fine on our big day. So for those who have emailed me, thank you so much. And for those who are still planning for their big day, just like me, please do not hesitate to ask me questions. I would love to help other bride to be’s who are planning for budgeted wedding.

As much as possible, I want to share the joy I have encountered while preparing for our big day. I want to inspire everyone that planning for a wedding doesn’t have to cost a fortune. What’s most important is the life after the wedding – and that is marriage. But if you’re going to ask me this question, would I spend and splurge that much if my H2b is as rich as Manny Pacquiao? Hell yes! Who doesn’t want to have an extravagant wedding anyway? I would not limit myself booking the suppliers as long as we have the means, but unfortunately, that is not the case. I will call myself hypocrite if I would tell that I wouldn’t spend that much on our wedding if my H2b and I earn 100,000/ month. ♥
But the thing is, my goal  is not just to make things happen on my wedding day but also to share inspiration to other people specially to those bride to be’s who are interested but doesn’t require a large amount of money or expensive services/venues just to have their dream wedding. Remember, anything is possible so long as there is careful planning and a lot of help from both parties.
I do not care if I share ALMOST every detail on our big day, but how can I keep myself from sharing all these things if there really is something to be proud of and be happy for?
So for all bride to be’s out there, just cherish every moment you are encountering while planning for a wedding. Stressful or not, enjoy it. Stress will always be there, but it’s pretty normal. Do not let stress ruin every ideas and plans you have in mind. Remember, stress will make you ugly, and it’s important for us to stay beautiful before and after the wedding 😉 So Happy preps!
